Garden in Riehen

The existing garden with old trees was carefully rebuilt and opened to the landscape.

A large concrete pool with a shallow water zone is slightly recessed into the terrain so that it appears only minimally from the main garden area. For this purpose, a low seating wall made of cast concrete was created, the back of which was planted with perennials at the old Japanese Maple.

The wooden deck laid around the pool protrudes into the embankment and integrates an already existing large pine. The plantings are simple and restrained.
