Garden in the Rural Area of Leimental

Redesign of a one family house garden on the border to the agricultural zone. A concave wall creates for the platform-like garden a clear boundary and the necessary stability to the surrounding landscape.

The wall as an architectural foreground makes the organic chain of hills in the background look particularly special. On the upper side, it serves as a seating wall, but at the same time supports the terrain and structures the view. A visual game between foreground and background.
