Why are trees pruned at all? The general aims of pruning are, for example the removal of deadwood, the relief of crown sections for static reasons, and the crown shape for reasons of design or space.
Our company has always pruned and maintained trees. For large specimens, we used to hire an external tree care company. Since 2021, however, we now have our own arborist on the team and can therefore act even more flexibly.
The rope climbing technique is also a gentle and fast method for pruning very large trees. Even in difficult locations that cannot be reached by a lifting platform, the rope climber can still work well.
It can also be used to fell trees without any problems if there is no space to let the tree fall in one piece. With this technique, the tree can be dismantled piece by piece and the sections roped down so that no damage is done to the surrounding area.
Overall, tree maintenance work of this kind requires little technical effort and is therefore more sustainable. After major interventions such as felling, the Salathé Rentzel company will be happy to advise you on any replanting and redesigning that may be desired or necessary.
